How we met
A message became a cupping in Quito.
Andrew first reached Don Leopoldo Andrade through Instagram after becoming curious about exceptional coffees emerging from an area of Ecuador not widely known for producing them. On a later trip to Quito for a class and Chocó Andino, Don Leopoldo invited the group into his home and prepared a complete cupping. The care in the setup matched the coffees: precise, expressive lots shaped by a producer deeply attentive to processing. Dynamic selected his natural Typica Mejorado and washed Sidra from that encounter with Don Leopoldo and La Josefina.
